I am so frustrated by some Obama's supporters inability to permit a two-way discussion about the realities of the GE. It has become "hate", "venom", "republican", to seek out valid, documented information about who Obama really is. "By any means necessary"** some are in such a hurry to sweep Obama to the nomination. Not much of a background check, no real verification of his resume, and worst of all, assessments of his character based on style, speeches, coolness.

The goal of this whole thing is to elect a successful Dem president. Not for my candidate to win, or for your candidate to win, but for a Dem to WIN. This is not a crusade, this is a real nuts and bolts IMPORTANT election that has to be WON.

People have been banned and vilified here for having the wisdom to research both candidates and try to inform other DEMS about the strengths and weaknesses of both. We can at less can make an informed decision about WHO CAN WIN. How can so many Obama supporters be so convinced about him when the only thing they allow themselves to hear is what Obama says.

You may not care about Wright, Rezcko, and the Black Nationalist movement in Chicago, but he is not running for President just for people who think like you. Many other people see this completely different than most Obama supporters and there is not a majority of voters in this country who do. That's why his poll numbers are dropping so fast in matchups with McCain.

I am offended by Obama's associations and many of his thoughts in his books, interviews, and speeches. After much research and reading I have come to the conclusion that Obama is a troubled man who would could be a disaster for this country. He will not win the nomination because he cannot win the GE.

Banning well-meaning Dems from contributing to My Direct Democracy, intimidation. or sticking your fingers in your ears is not going to change the reality of the GE.

I intend to vote for the person who I think will be best for the USA, not for what's best for the DEMS.

**Update** Questions about character and judgment "transend" mathematical calculations and percentages. Campaigns always enter a gritty phase where the bottom line question of who can WIN becomes the last question that must be answered. How Dem primary voters answer these questions is becoming totally irrelevant. The only thing that matters now is how the whole country answers them. Obama's Questionable Judgment

OBAMA LAUNDRY LIST OF LIES This article is uncomfortable to read because I start to feel sorry for BO and I think some of the things listed are a stretch. Plus I hate the title and the word LIAR. Using it was not helpful and was needlessly inflammatory. But I couldn't find much fault with most of the facts.

I am a Hillary supporter, but I grieve for Obama. I am hearing from a lot of Democrats feeling this way. I confess I am angry. With Obama, the corrupt MSM, Big Blogs, the DNC, Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton, my sister and my Baptist minister brother-in-law, David Axelrod, African-Americans, Al Sharpton....I'll stop there.

But of course we are in a war......with the GOP machine. We cannot lose sight of that. ALL of us have to take some time and refocus ourselves for the battles ahead.

Things for all of us to consider:

Is Obama now a fatally flawed candidate? At this point can we send him into the GE to face the GOP and the corrupt MSM? Here's why I grieve for Obama. Despite all the well known talents, intelligence, and skills that Obama possesses, Obama like all of us is a complicated person, whose views and character are shaped by his experiences.

Unfortunately this primary has spun into a mashup of ambition, division, experience and inexperience, media corruption, hasty decisions and Obama's own personal experiences. In my opinion his campaign failed to fully and honestly vet their candidate for a NATIONAL PRESIDENTAL election against the GOP machine.

But we are where we are and the bottom line questions for me are:
Can Obama survive GDA (God Damn America), Rezko and the house deal, and any other unknown unknowns Obama will reveal to us in the future. The answer for me is no.

Based on this I have to urge ALL democrats at this point in the campaign to do what ever it takes to unify behind our remaining candidate and fight like hell to:

Put a Democrat in the WH
Reach a 60% filibuster proof majority in the Senate
Increase our majority in the House

Now that's real power.

It is now about 12:00 noon est and we have not seen or heard from Obama. The man with the superior judgement.

Where's Obama ? This story is going to drive the news all weekend and the only response from Obama is a statement released by his communications director. Where's Obama ?

I have visited the obvious Obama hangouts. It's awful quiet about this out there. I think Obama boosters are stunned. What do they do now ? How does Claire McCaskill in Missouri climb down off of the bandwagon unscathed.

I don't know how Obama can overcome 20 yrs of membership in that church. Now I understand why Michelle seems so negative and bitter. Have their children been immersed in this stuff ? This is very scary. I have never been this upset about an election in my life. My world is turned upside down...last night I found myself agreeing with Bill O'Reily (OMG).

God Damn America ? Where IS Obama.

Obama's campaign had an early strategy of focusing on building their delegate count by targeting, among others, caucus states and states with large AA populations. In SC the first state with a large AA population, they had to break the bond between the Clintons and AAs. That's where the four page memo from Obama's campaign characterizing statements they claimed the Clinton Campaign had made about race comes in. It seems to me that this race-baiting was an essential part of his core campaign strategy. Without extremely high AA vote totals his whole strategy would fall apart.

It's sad but true that this type of race-baiting is common practice in large northern cities and southern states with large AA populations. It happens all the time in cities like Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland,OH were I grew up. Blacks use it with other blacks, whites use it with other whites, blacks and whites use it against each other. It's very effective and has elected many a politician.

This is such a disturbing subject for me to talk about but so is the sight of Obama using such tactics.

I am an AA and I think I can speak for millions of others, I hate this low form of emotional exploitation and I want to see this stuff exposed whenever we see it in action. I believe this black racism is the biggest obstacle to better race relations in current times.
